Hungarian Education has been divided into 3 parts (Bachelors, Masters and PhD). According to the research Hungary is was among 29 states in Bologna Declaration in 1999 providing a European Higher Education Area (EHEA), in that candidates and graduate students can use their previous qualifications in 1 country as acceptable entry requirements for further study in another country.
Hungarian institutions got a high position in different university rankings. Hungarian University are recognized degrees. In 2015 the European Association of Quality Assurance and in the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education renewed a membership of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee in terms of providing quality assurance and research programs at higher education institutions. In 2008 the recommendation of the European Parliament to establish its National Qualifications Framework was followed by Hungary.

Generally prospective students need to possess a high school diploma (or secondary school leaving certificate), which has to be translated into Hungarian or English with the corresponding transcript of courses and grades. Some courses may also require an entrance exam.
In the case of Master’s degrees, applicants have to submit the photocopy of their Bachelor’s diploma.
ECTS is one of thecredit system in Hungarystarted in the year 2003-2004. It provides surety of transparency of student’s quality of education, teaching and assessment process by facilitating the learning achievements in different countries throughout EHEA.
International students, professors and researchers getting degree from Hungarian Universities are very good trained and recognized at international level in Institutions and in study programs available. There are big number of students, professors and researchers every year joining Hungarian universities and research centers for extending their knowledge, qualification and research.
Though there are high standards of Hungarian Universities there are also quality control measures. The Hungarian Accreditation Committee organizes institutional and program accreditation process and monitors the education quality according to European guidelines and standards.
