A study of the two types of interpreting: simultaneous interpretation and follow-up. Various exercises will be used to train these skills to students: memory exercises; interpretation without notes; a visual interpretation; note-taking techniques and the depository institution.
Are the Irish, the English, French, Spanish, Italian and German languages are offered as the program but classes are usually available in other languages depending on the needs of students. A study of Theory and Practice of Interpretation, where e.g. strategic focus on communication skills voice coaching.
Examine the professional ethics of the trade too, as well as conference proceedings, working practices and working conditions. Will also study the European Union and organized by the University to study week the European Commission and Parliament to give insight to students on the interpretation.

You will be asked to enter the PAC course Code for each Programme is Apply for. We list PAC Codes hut beside the Programme online and in the Prospectus.
You sing (BUT are not obliged to) Apply for three Programmes taught three research Programmes OR When Making the application via PAC to NUI Galway. All your Applications will be assessed on a simultaneous basis.
