Germany has become a Renown destination for international students. German Universities offers programs Which are internationally recognized at a cheaper cost compared to Other Countries. 

All Universities in Germany will not charge tuition fees for undergraduate studies.  In some Federal States, Universities will charge a semester contribution Which is about 50 euros and administration fees which is also 50 euros. This fees structure can be different in future. Masters and PhD’s are charged as they are not Undergraduate Programs. Enrolment and confirmation fees are Added to the cost of Postgraduate Programs. But Still there are a good number of scholarships available for Masters and PhD
study in Germany.

Germany Scholarship Program provides both financial and non-material support to high-achieving and most committed students from all over the world.  The scholarship is awarded without considering Student’s Income or Nationality.   The scholarship amounts to 300 EUR per month Which is granted for at least two semesters or may be provided for a maximum time covering the standard period of study.   

DAAD is a joint organisation which is responsible for promoting international academic relations through the exchange of students, academics and researchers.  The DAAD scholarship database contains opportunities of scholarship and funding for International students, graduate students and scientists  seeking financial help for their studies, research or teaching assignments in Germany. The most popular DAAD scholarship program is divided into two i.e. theDAAD Scholarships for Development-related Postgraduate Courses and the DAAD Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance. 

A number of political and religious foundations are there in Germany which offers scholarships to international students belonging to different backgrounds, Qualifications. Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships is an example of a scholarship by a German political foundation while KAAD  is an example of a scholarship by a religious foundation . German Universities participate in a number of study programs which are funded by Erasmus Mundus Scholarships.

There is also Erasmus+ Which provides scholarships for periods of study and internships for duration of three to twelve months. Depending on your level of study, you may be eligible for a total of twelve months of Erasmus+ funding. With Erasmus+, you receive a scholarship money each month. Your home university determines the exact amount as per the guidelines provided by the European Commission. As an Erasmus+ student, student does not have to pay tuition fees at your host university.This means that if you wish to apply for Erasmus+ funding to
study in Germany, you have to be a guest student at a partner university, with which your home university has signed an Erasmus+ agreement. Internships at various companies are also eligible for funding

There is also a Max Planck Society which offers scholarship program for international visiting in Germanyforpursuing research programme. Scholarships are provided FOR law at the Max Planck Institute.Priority is given to candidates who works advance for the research interests of the Institute. The Duration of Scholarship offered is for 2 to 4 months.
