If we talk about globally, too, there are 5 business schools in France that rank in Global MBA rankings. HEC Paris

Not only of France, but HEC Paris is also one of the most prestigious business schools in the world. Among European business schools, it is the top business school according to the Financial Times. Global MBA ranking of HEC Paris jumped to 9th in 2020 from the 19th in 2019. Established in 1881, it offers programs like MBA, EMBA, Masters in Management, Executive Programs, Specialised MSc Programs, and Ph.D. programs.


With a motto like “business school of the world”, this top business school in France does not only have a campus in Fontainebleau but also in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, and San Francisco. The business school also ranks 4th in the Global MBA ranking, even ahead of HEC Paris. Along with a large number of executive programs, INSEAD offers EMBA, MBA, Master of Finance, Masters in Management, and Ph.D. in Management programs.

ESSEC Business School

Ranked at 7 in Top European Business schools, Essec Business school is also one of the most sought after business schools in France. The business school also features in the Global MBA rankings. It is one of the grande Ecoles from the group known as "Trois Parisiennes", the other two are ESCP and HEC Paris. The flagship program of Essec Business School is the Masters of Science in Management. The other programs are BBA, Master in Finance, Global MBA, P.hD., and executive programs.

ESCP Business School

Ranked at 14th among the top European Business Schools, ESCP has its campuses at Berlin, London,  Madrid, Paris, Turin, and Warsaw. The school was established back in 1819 as the ‘world’s first business school’, however, then it was not supported by the state and slowly and gradually the school built enough reputation to be where it is today. EDHEC Business School

Another top business school in France, the Edhec Business school is ranked 15th among its European counterparts. With three campuses in France, the school also has two international campuses in London and Singapore. It is one of the triple-accredited business schools in France with accreditations from  EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. The programs at Edhec include International BBA, Global MBA, Executive MBA, Master in Management, and P.hD. in Finance.

EMLyon Business School

The fourth ever business school in France, EMLyon was established back in 1872. Among the European Business Schools, it ranks 20th top business school. Along with three campuses in France, three international campuses include Shanghai (China), Casablanca (Morocco), and Bhubaneswar (India). EMLyon also shares a worldwide partnership with American technology giant IBM. The programs include BBA, MBA, EMBA, and other specialized programs.

Grenoble Ecole de Management

Founded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Grenoble itself, the Grenoble Ecole de Management is one of the top business schools in France. Among its European counterparts, it sits at the rank of 25. The GEM is one of the biggest business schools in France in terms of staff and students enrolled. It is particularly known for its teachings in technology management, finance, and business strategy. The business school is also a part of research initiatives like the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, MEDFORIST, and GIANT.

Kedge Business School

Another one of the top business schools in France, Kedge is the result of a merger between Euromed and BEM. Among the European Business schools, it stands at the rank of 30. Kedge is also triple-accredited by EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. While bachelor’s courses offered are BBA and Masters in Management, the Master’s courses range from corporate finance, MBA, Banking to Arts and Creative Industry Management, international business, and sports and events management.

Audencia Business School

Skema Business School is one of the top business schools in France, with three campuses in the country and international campuses in China, USA, Brazil, and South Africa. The Neoma Business School is the 50th best European Business School. It was also a result of a merger between Reims and Rouen Business Schools. The student body consists of 9500 students, 25% of the students out of that are of international background. The flagship program at Neoma would be master in management. The other programs include TEMA, global BBA, MBA, and Executive MBA among many.

Montpellier Business School

One of France’s famous Grande Ecoles, Montpellier Business School is also one of the oldest Écoles Supérieures de Commerce in France (established in 1897). The school also holds prestigious triple accreditations from EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA, only held by top 1% of the business schools in the world.
