Merits you should know about Studying in Germany

Germany is developing as a favorite destination for people willing to do their higher studies (especially for Masters Studies). The number of international candidates applying to study in Germany in seek of higher education is gradually increasing year by year and term by term. Before a potential student even thinks about getting a German degree, it is very important for him/her to have actual reasoning behind their decision. In fact, every candidate at one point of time needs to answer a simple question: "Is Germany really the place where I want to be/study?" or Why study in Germany?”

Technology:
Germany is known for its technical invention. When one attempts to sit and dig deep into the roots of this revolution, it points out to just one fact, i.e., The German universities! Ever since the start of modern engineering, the technology that rooted out of the German soil is considered to be one of the best in the world. Be in any discipline of engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, and Civil, Electrical etc.) German companies are just on the top of the list not only nationally but also universally.

Top Ranking universities:
The Germany universities are of very high standards in terms of reputation and international acclaim. Many of the management universities such as IUBH, PFH Germany, Gisma Business School etc., rank very high in the list of "World ranking for the best management institutes".

International Degree:
Most of the courses offered by the German universities are mostly German taught. However, due to the rising demand and huge in-flow of foreign crowd, the universities have moved to English taught courses. Today there are more than 350 English taught courses in various universities across Germany. These courses offered in multiplicity of disciplines (engineering, medicine, natural sciences, law, arts etc.) are internationally recognized. This removes the fear in most of the young minds who are doubtful about their degree earned in Germany.

Course Duration:
Since the education system is divided into "practical oriented" study and "industry oriented" study, many study programs in Germany offer a 3 semester Masters course (1.5 years). Alternatively, there are also 4 semester Masters Course (2 years) presented by many technical institutes. This is a huge benefit to people who would want to take admission in Germany and complete their Masters as soon as possible and head directly to the German industry to work.

Strategic University Locations:
The German universities are frequently located in such strategic locations where the industry concentration predominant and the research hubs are easily reachable. This helps the industry-university communication grow further and eventually to make the learning environment bidirectional. Ultimately, it also helps the students who look for jobs after their Master Degree to stay and work in the same city.

World Class Facilities:
The world class services that extent the German universities origin from the generous funding provided by the German government. The workshops and the research facilities meet the international standards.

Faculty & Research:
The strategies drafted by the German government to attract talents to teach in the universities are excellent. The industry "big shots" and technical experts are easily available and later most of the universities boast of an excellent faculty. Also since the internationalism itself has a very great effect on the German universities, the businesses and tie-ups also yield eminent visiting faculties from various countries to come to Germany and deliver their knowledge.

International peer crowd:
The learning experience in Germany is not limited only to the class room connections. The Germans are of the opinion that, a lot of learning comes not from the Professor-student relationships but also peer-peer interactions. Hence the university selection team in each university raids a flawless balance to have students from all countries and all backgrounds.

Subsidized Tuition Fee:
One of the main benefit of studying in Germany is the "highly subsidized tuition fee". Earlier the cost of study in Germany was free of cost (the complete tuition fee was waived off to every student). However, in the current days the universities have started to charge a very nominal tuition fee for study in Germany in order to improvise the existing facilities and provide much better quality education.

Excellent Job opportunities:
Germany is known for its business hub. Many world famous German corporations such as SAP, Bosch, Siemens, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, etc., provide outstanding career opportunities to one and all, irrespective of their nationality. Thousands of dealer companies to these big giants also keep their doors open to the international talents.

Research Funding:
The research assignments in the universities by and large depends on the finance provided by three main sources: The German Government, the industry, The European Union (EU). Since all these three aspects are largely natural by the external influences, the research funding for the projects have literally no bound. Hence Germany is really a Hub for researchers from any discipline.
